A Chef's tip for you and this recipe: When making the crispy treats and you are using your stove instead of the microwave, melt the butter in a large saucepan on low heat. Add Marshmellows;cook until Marshmellows are completely melted and the mixtureis well blended,stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add cereal; Mix well.

Chocolate Crunch Football Treats Recipe

Ingredients
3 Tablespoons butter or margarine
1/2 Cup creamy peanut butter
1 package ( 10.5 oz.) Marshmellows
6 Cups of Rice Crispies cereal
1 package (4oz.) semi-sweet chocolate, melted
1 package (4oz) semi-sweet White chocolate, melted
Cooking Directions
Microwave butter in large microwave-safe bowl on HIGH for 45 seconds or until melted.
Add Peanut Butter
Add Marshmellows: toss to coat.
Microwave for another 1 1/2 minutes, or until marshmellowsare completely melted and mixture is well blended.
stir after 45 seconds
Add Cereal Mix Well.
Shape into 24 football shapes (About 1/4 cup each)
Melt semisweet chocolate
Dip tops of footballs in semisweet chocolate
Place chocolate sides up, on wax paper
Melt white chocolate and spoon into a small resealable plastic bag
Press out excess air, seal the bag.
Trim a small piece off one bottom corner of bag. Use to draw laces on footballs.
Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm.
